The Ladders & Lagers Festival, originally known as "Firefest", was established six years ago to raise funds for the Dallas Firefighter's Museum and its capital projects. The Museum successfully raised funds for its Phase 1 capital renovation to the exterior of the Museum which you can review here. The entire exterior was completely restored, and now the Museum is entering into Phase 2 of the capital campaign to renovate the interior of the museum and provide an updated and scalable educational and cultural-historical experience for the children and families of Dallas County. This museum is owned and operated by Dallas firefighters, both active and retired -- those who serve our city each and every day. This festival directly benefits the Phase 2 renovation of the Museum. Newly branded as the Ladders & Lagers Festival, this year is extra special. We are celebrating 50 years of the Museum serving the community and 50 years of the establishment of Emergency Medical Services (EMS) in Dallas, and we are honoring 150 years of Dallas Firefighters serving our community. This year we celebrate their legacy, their sacrifice, and their service to the City of Dallas.

Come out and celebrate the legacy of the Dallas Firefighter's Museum. We are so excited to be back and with new and exciting partners for our annual festival. Proceeds from the festival benefit the Dallas Firefighter's Museum's capital improvements focused on protecting the firefighting history, fire protection, fire prevention, and all-hazards life safety.

We’ll have live music and specialty crafted beers by Community Beer Co. – your favorites and some new ones that benefit the Museum’s historical and educational programming through our new capital campaign expansion.
